This Privacy Policy explains how CreatorsProfiles.com (“CreatorsProfiles”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and shares information when you visit the website, use creator discovery, create or manage an account, submit a creator profile, claim a profile, complete verification, request a correction or otherwise interact with the Service.

CreatorsProfiles is designed around public creator identity. Some information displayed on creator profiles may therefore come from public sources rather than directly from the creator.

1. Who this Policy applies to

This Policy applies to visitors, registered users, creators, creator representatives, people who submit information, and people whose public creator information appears on CreatorsProfiles.

If you use CreatorsProfiles on behalf of another person, creator, agency, company or organisation, you should only provide personal information that you are authorised to provide.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use CreatorsProfiles, we may collect or process information such as:

  • account information, including name, username, email address and login-related information;
  • creator profile information, including creator name, biography, profession, topic or niche, known-for information, public location, languages, education, awards and other profile details;
  • official social-profile and website links;
  • business or collaboration information that a creator chooses to provide;
  • profile photographs, cover images, gallery items, featured content, FAQs and product or gear links submitted for a profile;
  • claim and verification information;
  • moderation, consent, audit and profile-change records;
  • support, correction, removal, copyright or other messages you send to us;
  • technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, security logs and basic website request data that may be generated by our hosting or security systems;
  • cookie and discovery-preference information described below.

We do not ask creators to make private contact details public unless they choose to provide information intended for public display.

3. Public creator profile information

CreatorsProfiles is a public creator identity and discovery platform. Information intentionally published on a creator profile is generally visible to anyone who can access the website.

Public profile information may include biography, public creator identity, topic or niche, public location, languages, official social accounts, public follower-count information, education, awards, featured work, collaboration information, sources and verification status.

You should not submit information to a public profile that you do not want publicly displayed.

4. Information from public and third-party sources

Some creator profiles may be created before the creator claims them. In those cases, CreatorsProfiles may collect or reference information that is already publicly available from legitimate sources, such as official social-media profiles, creator websites, public interviews, published articles or other publicly accessible references.

We may organise, summarise or structure this information to make a creator profile easier to understand. Publicly available information is still subject to our editorial, correction, removal and privacy processes.

If you believe public information about you is inaccurate, outdated, excessively intrusive or should otherwise be reviewed, you may contact us or use the applicable correction/removal process.

5. Accounts and profile claims

If you create an account or claim a creator profile, we process information needed to operate that account and determine whether you have authority to manage the profile.

This may include your account email, claim status, creator-profile relationship, claim method, timestamps and other information reasonably necessary to prevent impersonation or unauthorised profile control.

A public “Claimed” or similar status may be shown on the creator profile, but private account information used to manage the profile is not automatically made public.

6. Verification information

CreatorsProfiles may offer different verification methods, such as email verification, verification through an official social profile or website, or stronger identity verification where available.

We process only the information reasonably necessary for the verification method being used. Verification records may include the method, status, time of verification and related audit information.

If a future verification method requires sensitive identity documentation, the applicable verification flow should explain what is collected, why it is needed, how long it is retained and whether a third-party verification provider is involved before you submit it.

Private verification materials are not intended to be displayed publicly merely because a profile receives a verification status.

7. Creator submissions and moderation records

Creators may submit profile changes, featured content, products, gear, FAQs, links and other information. Some submissions may be held for moderation before publication.

For platform integrity, we may retain records of submissions, approvals, rejections, suspicious activity, moderation notes, consent to Terms, verification changes and other account or profile actions.

These records help us resolve disputes, prevent abuse, investigate impersonation, maintain profile accuracy and understand the history of material changes.

8. Discovery preferences and cookies

CreatorsProfiles may use first-party cookies or similar browser storage to remember discovery preferences and support normal website functions.

Discovery preferences may include:

  • Topic / Niche;
  • Content Function;
  • Content Format;
  • Country;
  • State / Region;
  • City / Locality;
  • Language.

These preferences are used to rank or personalise discovery results. They do not change direct creator-name search into a location-restricted search.

We may also use cookies necessary for login sessions, security and basic website operation. If we later introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies, we will update our disclosures and, where required, provide appropriate choices.

9. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • operate, maintain and secure CreatorsProfiles;
  • create, display and manage creator profiles;
  • process profile claims and verification;
  • review creator submissions and moderate content;
  • rank creator discovery results according to relevance signals;
  • respond to support, correction, privacy, copyright and removal requests;
  • detect impersonation, spam, suspicious links, abuse or security threats;
  • maintain consent, verification and moderation audit records;
  • improve the reliability, usability and performance of the Service;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of users, creators and the platform.

We do not treat follower count alone as a measure of creator quality. Discovery may use multiple relevance and trust signals such as topic, function, format, location, profile completeness, verification and freshness.

10. When information may be shared

We may share information in limited circumstances, including:

  • with service providers that help us host, secure, email, maintain or operate the Service;
  • with verification or technical providers where needed for a feature you use;
  • when you intentionally publish information on a public creator profile;
  • when required by law, legal process or a valid government request;
  • when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, impersonation, security incidents or threats to users or the Service;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers. If our business model changes in a way that materially affects this statement, this Policy will be updated before that practice is introduced.

11. Public profiles, search engines and AI systems

Creator profiles are designed to be publicly discoverable. Public pages may be indexed, cached, summarised or referenced by search engines, AI systems, web archives and other third parties outside CreatorsProfiles.

We may use structured data and other technical methods to help search engines and automated systems understand creator identity and official profile information.

If information is later corrected or removed from CreatorsProfiles, third-party search results, caches or AI systems may take additional time to update. We do not control how quickly independent third parties refresh or remove information they previously accessed.

12. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including operating accounts and profiles, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations and preventing abuse.

Different categories of information may be retained for different periods. For example, public profile information may remain while the profile is active, while certain moderation, verification, consent or security records may be retained after an account or profile changes where reasonably necessary for integrity, legal compliance or dispute handling.

We should periodically review retention practices as CreatorsProfiles moves into full production.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, misuse or disclosure.

No website, database or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should contact us if you believe your account or creator profile has been compromised.

14. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights relating to personal information, which can include the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or information about how data is processed.

These rights are not identical in every jurisdiction and may be subject to legal exceptions, especially where information is public, needed to protect other users, required for legal compliance or retained for legitimate security and dispute-resolution purposes.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting on a request concerning a creator profile or account.

15. Corrections, deletion and removal requests

If you are a creator or another affected person, you may ask us to review inaccurate, outdated, incomplete or inappropriate information.

Account deletion, removal of private account data and removal of information from a public creator profile are not always the same process. A creator profile may contain independently sourced public information even when the account that once managed it is no longer active.

Requests will be evaluated according to the nature of the information, the requester’s rights, source reliability, platform integrity, applicable law and any legitimate reason to retain particular records.

Where appropriate, we may correct information rather than remove an entire public profile.

16. Children's privacy

CreatorsProfiles is not intended to collect unnecessary personal information from children. If a creator is under the age required to consent to data processing or account creation in their jurisdiction, a parent, guardian or otherwise authorised adult may need to be involved.

We should apply additional care when publishing information about minors and avoid displaying private contact details, precise private location information or other information that could create unnecessary safety risks.

If you believe information about a child has been published inappropriately, please contact us for review.

17. International users and transfers

CreatorsProfiles may be accessed by people in different countries. Website hosting, email, security, analytics or other service providers may process information in countries different from your own.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards should be used for international transfers of personal information.

Privacy rights and legal requirements vary by jurisdiction. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit mandatory rights that apply to you under applicable law.

18. Third-party links and services

Creator profiles may link to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, websites, stores, products or other third-party services. Those services have their own privacy practices, and CreatorsProfiles does not control how they collect or use information after you leave our website.

We encourage you to review the privacy notices of third-party services you choose to use.

19. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as CreatorsProfiles evolves, introduces new features, changes service providers or responds to legal or operational requirements.

When we make material changes, we may update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where appropriate.

This Policy is drafted to match the current CreatorsProfiles product design. Before a broad commercial launch, it should be reviewed against the final hosting setup, analytics tools, email provider, verification process, operating legal entity, countries served and any applicable privacy laws.
