Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
This policy explains how CreatorsProfiles handles copyright, trademarks, creator-owned material, platform-owned material, infringement reports and other intellectual-property concerns.
CreatorsProfiles respects intellectual-property rights and expects creators, users and contributors to do the same.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to intellectual-property issues involving content displayed, submitted, linked, embedded or otherwise made available through CreatorsProfiles.
It covers creator profile material, images, biographies, logos, trademarks, featured content, product links, written submissions and other content that may be protected by copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
2. Ownership of CreatorsProfiles material
Unless otherwise stated, CreatorsProfiles owns or licenses the original platform materials it creates, including the CreatorsProfiles name and branding, website design, software, platform functionality, original editorial text, database structure, graphics, layouts and documentation.
Use of CreatorsProfiles does not transfer ownership of these materials to users.
3. Creator-owned and third-party material
Creator names, photographs, videos, logos, trademarks, social-media content, product images and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
The presence of third-party material on a creator profile does not mean that CreatorsProfiles owns that material.
4. Material submitted by creators or users
If you submit content to CreatorsProfiles, you represent that you have the rights or permissions needed to submit and publish that material.
You retain ownership of material you own. By submitting it, you grant CreatorsProfiles the limited licence described in our Terms & Conditions to host, display, format, reproduce and technically process the material as reasonably necessary to operate the Service.
You should not upload content copied from another person unless you have permission or another lawful basis to use it.
5. Profile photographs and creator images
Profile photographs and other creator images may come from creator submissions, official public profiles, licensed sources or other lawful sources.
Where image ownership or permission is uncertain, CreatorsProfiles may remove or replace the image while a concern is reviewed.
A public image being visible online does not automatically mean it is free from copyright protection.
6. Trademarks, logos and brand names
Creator names, company names, channel names, logos and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
CreatorsProfiles may refer to trademarks and brand names for identification, attribution, description or linking purposes.
Such use does not imply ownership, sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.
7. Social-platform names and logos
Names and trademarks belonging to YouTube, Google, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, X and other third-party services remain the property of their respective owners.
CreatorsProfiles is independent from those platforms unless a specific relationship is expressly stated.
8. Linking and embedding
Creator profiles may link to or embed publicly available content hosted on third-party services.
Linking to or embedding third-party content does not transfer ownership of that content to CreatorsProfiles.
The underlying content remains subject to the terms, permissions and rights of the third-party platform and rights holder.
9. Featured content and external media
Creators may choose to highlight videos, articles, podcasts, images or other work associated with their public creator identity.
CreatorsProfiles may display a link, preview, embed or descriptive reference where appropriate.
Unless CreatorsProfiles created the underlying work, inclusion as Featured Content does not mean CreatorsProfiles owns or independently licenses the full work.
10. Copyright infringement reports
If you believe material on CreatorsProfiles infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint through our Contact Us page or a dedicated rights-reporting process when available.
A useful complaint should include:
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
- the exact CreatorsProfiles URL containing the material;
- identification of the allegedly infringing material;
- your name and contact information;
- an explanation of your relationship to the copyright owner;
- a good-faith statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorised;
- supporting evidence reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
11. What happens after a copyright report
CreatorsProfiles may review the report, the material, available source information and any response from the person who submitted the content.
Depending on the circumstances, we may remove or disable access to the material, replace an image, remove an embed or link, request more information, notify the submitting user, or decline the request where the complaint is insufficient.
12. Misrepresentation and false complaints
Do not knowingly submit false, fraudulent or misleading infringement complaints.
CreatorsProfiles may restrict users who abuse intellectual-property reporting processes to harass creators, suppress lawful material or obtain control over content through deception.
13. Counter-notices and disputes
If material you submitted is removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may contact CreatorsProfiles and provide information explaining your rights or permission to use the material.
Where applicable law provides a formal counter-notice process, additional legally required information may be requested.
CreatorsProfiles is not a court and may decline to resolve complex ownership disputes that require formal legal determination.
14. Repeat infringement
CreatorsProfiles may restrict accounts, suspend editing privileges or remove repeatedly infringing submissions where appropriate.
Repeated infringement may also affect a creator's ability to submit images, featured content, products or other material.
15. Creator names, identity and publicity rights
Copyright is different from rights relating to a person's name, likeness, image, identity or publicity.
If your concern is that a profile uses your identity, image or personal information improperly rather than copying a copyrighted work, submit the issue as a privacy, impersonation, correction or removal request as appropriate.
16. Profile information and factual data
Copyright does not necessarily protect facts themselves, although the original wording, arrangement, photographs or other creative expression used to present those facts may be protected.
CreatorsProfiles may independently organise factual creator information into its own profile structure while respecting protectable third-party expression.
We should avoid copying substantial creative text from another biography or article when the underlying facts can instead be summarised in original language.
17. Sources and references
CreatorsProfiles may cite or link to sources used to support profile information.
A reference link is intended for attribution, verification and context. It does not mean CreatorsProfiles owns the referenced material.
Source attribution also does not automatically provide permission to reproduce copyrighted material beyond what is legally permitted.
18. AI-assisted content
CreatorsProfiles may use AI-assisted tools to help organise or draft profile information.
AI-assisted output should not be used to reproduce substantial copyrighted material from third-party sources.
Where AI-assisted text is based on source material, CreatorsProfiles should use original summaries and appropriate references rather than copying protected expression.
19. Products, affiliate links and commercial material
Creators may submit product names, gear recommendations, external stores or affiliate links.
Product names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
CreatorsProfiles may remove product images, descriptions or links that appear to infringe intellectual-property rights or misrepresent an affiliation.
20. Use of CreatorsProfiles content by others
You may view and share links to public CreatorsProfiles pages for ordinary personal, editorial or business-reference purposes.
You may not copy, republish, scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit substantial portions of CreatorsProfiles' original database, design, software or editorial content in a way that violates applicable law or our Terms.
21. Automated scraping and database extraction
Automated access that extracts substantial creator-profile data, bypasses technical restrictions, creates unreasonable load or republishes the CreatorsProfiles database may be restricted.
Permitted search-engine indexing, ordinary linking and other legitimate automated access may be treated differently from bulk extraction or commercial copying.
22. Good-faith handling of disputes
CreatorsProfiles aims to handle intellectual-property concerns fairly and proportionately.
We may temporarily remove disputed material while reviewing a credible complaint, especially where continued publication could create significant legal or rights-related risk.
Removal during review does not necessarily mean CreatorsProfiles has made a final legal determination regarding ownership or infringement.
23. Changes to this policy
CreatorsProfiles may update this Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy as platform features, media tools, creator-submission workflows or applicable legal requirements change.
Material updates may be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date.
