Creator Profiles

What is CreatorsProfiles?

CreatorsProfiles is an independent creator identity and discovery platform. It helps people understand who a creator is, what they create, what they are known for, and where to find their official online presence.

Is CreatorsProfiles a social network?

No. CreatorsProfiles is not designed around feeds, likes, comments or follower competition. Its core purpose is creator identity, trust, context and discovery.

Who can have a creator profile?

Profiles may represent eligible creators, creator-led brands, channels, teams or other public creator identities where enough reliable information exists to identify them responsibly.

Can CreatorsProfiles create a profile before the creator joins?

Yes. Some profiles may be created from reliable public information before the creator claims them.

An unclaimed profile does not mean the creator created, approved or endorsed the profile.

What information can appear on a creator profile?

A profile may include biography, Known For, Topic / Niche, Content Function, Content Format, public location, languages, official social accounts, education, awards, featured content, products or gear, collaboration information, sources and verification status.

Why are some profiles more complete than others?

Profiles are built from available reliable information. CreatorsProfiles prefers an incomplete but supportable profile over one filled with guesses or weakly sourced claims.

Claims & Verification

How do I claim my creator profile?

Where available, use the Claim Profile option on your creator page. You may be asked to verify control through an approved email, official social account, website or another method.

What does “Claimed” mean?

Claimed means an eligible account has been approved to manage the profile. It does not necessarily mean every stronger verification level has been completed.

What are the verification levels?
  • Claimed — recognised profile management access.
  • Email Verified — control of an approved email address has been confirmed.
  • Social Verified — control of at least one recognised official social account or website has been confirmed.
  • Identity Verified — a stronger identity verification process has been completed where available.
How does social verification work?

A creator may be asked to place a temporary CreatorsProfiles link or verification signal in an official social-media bio, channel description or website. Once confirmed, the profile may receive Social Verified status.

Does verification mean CreatorsProfiles endorses the creator?

No. Verification confirms a specific identity or control step. It is not an endorsement of the creator's opinions, products, services or conduct.

Can a manager or agent claim a profile?

Yes, if they can demonstrate appropriate authority to act for the creator. CreatorsProfiles may request confirmation from an official creator email, social account, website or another reliable source.

Can verification be removed?

Yes. Verification may be reviewed or revoked if evidence is no longer valid, official accounts change ownership, false information was used, or another serious security or ownership concern arises.

Discovery & Search

How does CreatorsProfiles decide which creators appear first?

Ranking depends on context. Signals may include Topic / Niche, Content Function, Content Format, location, language, profile completeness, verification, freshness and collaboration relevance.

Does the creator with the most followers always rank first?

No. Follower count is context, not a universal measure of quality or relevance.

A creator is not inherently good or bad; they are more or less relevant to a particular purpose.
What is the difference between Topic, Function and Format?
  • Topic / Niche: what the creator creates about — for example Travel, Technology or Food.
  • Content Function: what the content does — for example Educates, Reviews, Recommends or Entertains.
  • Content Format: how the content is delivered — for example Short-form Video, Long-form Video, Photography or Podcast.
Does my saved location restrict creator-name searches?

No. Direct creator-name search is intended to remain global. Saved location and content preferences are mainly used as soft relevance signals in discovery areas.

How long are discovery preferences remembered?

Current preference cookies may be stored for up to approximately 180 days unless you clear or change them earlier.

Corrections, Removal & Privacy

How do I report incorrect information?

Use the Contact Us page and identify the creator profile, the exact information you believe is incorrect, and the correct information. Include a reliable source where possible.

Do I need to claim a profile just to correct an error?

No. A creator or another person can report an error without claiming the profile.

Can I ask for information to be removed?

Yes. You may request review of specific information where there are privacy, safety, accuracy, copyright or other legitimate concerns.

Can I ask for an entire profile to be removed?

Yes, you may request a full profile review. Removal is not automatic. CreatorsProfiles may consider privacy, safety, public creator activity, source quality, legal rights and whether a narrower correction would adequately address the concern.

If I delete my account, is my public creator profile automatically deleted?

Not necessarily. A private CreatorsProfiles account and a public creator profile are different. A profile may contain independently sourced public information and may remain available in an unclaimed or editorially managed state.

What if Google or an AI system still shows information after it is corrected?

Search engines, AI systems and web caches may take time to refresh information they previously accessed. CreatorsProfiles cannot directly control how quickly independent third parties update their indexes.

For Creators

Can I create my own profile?

Yes, where creator profile creation is available. New profiles may be reviewed for quality, duplication and identity before receiving stronger ownership or verification status.

Can I edit everything after claiming my profile?

No. Claiming a profile does not create unrestricted publishing rights. Some changes may be moderated before publication, especially official-account changes, promotional claims, products, affiliate links or other sensitive fields.

Can I remove information I do not like?

You can request review, but a claimed profile may still include independently sourced public information where it is accurate, relevant, appropriately sourced and consistent with our policies.

Can I add products or gear I use?

Where that feature is enabled, creators may submit products, gear or related links. Commercial and affiliate links may be subject to moderation and disclosure requirements.

Can I add FAQs to my creator profile?

Yes, where the FAQ field is enabled. Profile FAQs should provide useful factual context about the creator and may be moderated like other creator-submitted content.

For Brands, Agencies & Researchers

Can brands use CreatorsProfiles to discover creators?

Yes. Creator discovery can help identify creators by topic, content purpose, format, location, language and other relevant context.

Does a high ranking mean CreatorsProfiles recommends that creator for my campaign?

No. Discovery ranking estimates relevance within the available platform signals. Brands should still perform their own suitability, audience, safety, legal and commercial due diligence.

Can I contact creators directly?

Where a creator chooses to publish business or collaboration contact information, that information may be shown on the profile. Otherwise, use the creator's linked official channels.

Are follower counts guaranteed to be current?

No. Audience figures may be approximate and can change frequently. Check the creator's official platform for current numbers when they are important to a decision.

Products, Gear & Affiliate Links

Are product links always affiliate links?

No. Some links may be ordinary external links, while others may generate a commission for the creator, CreatorsProfiles or another party.

Does CreatorsProfiles endorse every product shown on a profile?

No. Unless explicitly stated, the presence of a product or commercial link does not mean CreatorsProfiles independently tested or endorses it.

Does using an affiliate link increase the price?

Usually no, but pricing and merchant terms are controlled by the third-party seller. Always confirm the final price and conditions before purchasing.

Account & Support

I cannot access my account. What should I do?

Use the available password-reset or account-recovery option first. If the problem continues, contact support and provide the email address associated with your account. Do not send your password.

How do I report impersonation?

Use the Contact Us page and provide the CreatorsProfiles profile URL plus the official account or website that helps establish the correct identity.

How do I report a copyright issue?

Send a copyright or intellectual-property request identifying the protected work, the relevant CreatorsProfiles URL, the material at issue and your relationship to the rights holder.

How quickly will CreatorsProfiles reply?

Response times may vary depending on the request. Straightforward support questions may be handled sooner than ownership disputes, privacy matters, copyright complaints or complex verification issues.

CreatorsProfiles does not promise a specific response time until formal support service levels are published.

Where can I read the platform policies?

You can review the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Creator Profile & Editorial Policy, Claim & Verification Policy, Corrections/Removal/Privacy Requests, Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
