Affiliate Disclosure
This disclosure explains how affiliate links, commercial links, creator product recommendations and similar monetized references may appear on CreatorsProfiles.
CreatorsProfiles believes commercial relationships should be clear enough for users to understand when a purchase or action may generate a commission.
1. What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracked link that may generate a commission or referral payment when someone clicks the link, makes a purchase, signs up for a service or completes another qualifying action.
In most cases, using an affiliate link does not increase the price paid by the user.

Affiliate or commercial links may appear in areas such as:
- creator Products & Gear sections;
- recommended tools, equipment or services associated with a creator;
- featured creator resources;
- creator-submitted product links;
- future CreatorsProfiles guides, recommendations or commercial features.
Not every external link is an affiliate link.

Affiliate activity is separate from the core purpose of CreatorsProfiles.
A creator's profile, identity information, verification status, biography and official accounts should not depend on whether that creator participates in an affiliate program.
5. Affiliate relationships and discovery ranking
CreatorsProfiles does not intend affiliate commissions to function as a hidden universal ranking advantage.
Creator discovery may consider relevance signals such as Topic / Niche, Content Function, Content Format, location, language, profile completeness, verification and freshness.
If CreatorsProfiles later introduces sponsored placement or paid promotion, it should be clearly distinguished from ordinary relevance-based discovery.
6. Creator-submitted affiliate links
Creators may be able to submit links to products, gear, stores or services associated with their work.
Where a creator submits an affiliate link, the creator is responsible for ensuring that the link and any associated claims comply with applicable advertising, consumer-protection and disclosure requirements.
CreatorsProfiles may require affiliate-specific consent or disclosure during submission and may moderate links before publication.
7. How affiliate links should be identified
Where reasonably practical, affiliate or commission-generating links should be disclosed near the relevant link, product or section.
Disclosure wording may include terms such as:
- Affiliate link
- May earn a commission
- Creator affiliate link
- Sponsored or paid relationship, where applicable
The exact wording may vary depending on the context and applicable legal requirements.
8. Affiliate links are not endorsements by CreatorsProfiles
The presence of an affiliate link does not automatically mean CreatorsProfiles independently recommends, has tested or guarantees the product or service.
Unless explicitly stated, product and service references should be treated as creator-provided or informational content rather than independent product endorsements by CreatorsProfiles.
9. Product information may change
Prices, availability, specifications, promotions and affiliate-program terms may change without notice.
CreatorsProfiles does not guarantee that product information shown on a creator profile will remain current after publication.
Users should confirm important product details on the merchant's website before purchasing.
10. Purchases occur with third parties
Unless CreatorsProfiles expressly operates the checkout itself, purchases made after following a product or affiliate link take place with an independent third-party merchant or service.
The merchant's terms, refund policy, warranty, privacy practices and customer-support rules apply to that transaction.
CreatorsProfiles is not automatically a party to a transaction merely because the user reached the merchant through a creator profile.
11. No guarantee of product quality or results
Products and services work differently for different users.
CreatorsProfiles does not guarantee that a product linked from a creator profile is suitable, safe, effective or appropriate for every user.
Users should make their own purchasing decisions and seek appropriate professional advice where a product involves health, finance, safety or another regulated area.
12. Prohibited affiliate practices
CreatorsProfiles may remove or reject affiliate links that involve:
- deceptive or disguised tracking;
- false claims about products or services;
- malicious, unsafe or suspicious URLs;
- unauthorised use of trademarks or copyrighted material;
- spam or irrelevant products;
- attempts to bypass moderation or disclosure requirements;
- products or services that CreatorsProfiles does not permit on the platform.
13. Moderation of commercial links
Affiliate and commercial links may be subject to moderation before or after publication.
CreatorsProfiles may reject, remove, suspend or request changes to a commercial link where it creates a safety, legal, disclosure, spam, impersonation or platform-integrity concern.
Verification of a creator does not automatically exempt commercial links from moderation.
14. Sponsored content is different from affiliate content
An affiliate link usually pays a commission based on a qualifying action. Sponsored content generally involves compensation for placement, promotion or exposure.
If CreatorsProfiles introduces sponsored creator placements, advertisements or paid promotional features, those relationships should be disclosed separately and clearly identified.
15. Editorial independence
CreatorsProfiles aims to separate editorial identity information from commercial incentives.
Affiliate revenue should not determine factual profile content, verification decisions, correction outcomes or ownership decisions.
Where a commercial relationship could reasonably affect how users interpret content, the relationship should be disclosed.
16. User responsibility
Before purchasing through an affiliate or external link, users should review the merchant's product information, pricing, delivery terms, return policy and other relevant conditions.
If you have a problem with a purchase, contact the merchant or the party responsible for the transaction unless CreatorsProfiles expressly states that it is the seller.
17. Changes to affiliate relationships
Affiliate programs may be added, changed or discontinued over time.
CreatorsProfiles may update this disclosure if its monetization model changes materially, including the introduction of sponsored placements, advertising, creator commerce or new affiliate arrangements.

We may update this Affiliate Disclosure as CreatorsProfiles evolves.
Material updates may be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date.
