Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how CreatorsProfiles.com (“CreatorsProfiles”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar browser technologies when you visit or use the website.
Cookies help us operate essential website functions, protect accounts and remember discovery preferences so that CreatorsProfiles can provide a more relevant experience.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They can help a website remember information between page visits or browser sessions.
Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Others may remember preferences or support analytics, advertising or other optional features.
2. How CreatorsProfiles uses cookies
The core CreatorsProfiles experience may use cookies or similar browser storage for:
Additional services such as analytics, advertising, embedded media or third-party tools may use additional cookies if those services are enabled.
3. Essential cookies
Essential cookies support features that are necessary for the website or account systems to work correctly.
Depending on how you use CreatorsProfiles, these may help with:
- logging in and maintaining an authenticated session;
- protecting forms and account actions against abuse;
- security and fraud prevention;
- remembering temporary technical state needed for a request;
- supporting WordPress or plugin functionality required to operate the Service.
Because these cookies are required for core functionality, disabling them may prevent parts of CreatorsProfiles from working properly.
4. Discovery preference cookies
CreatorsProfiles can remember optional discovery preferences so you do not need to enter them every time you browse creators.
Current preference cookies may include:
| Cookie | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| cp_pref_topic | Remembers your preferred creator Topic / Niche. | Up to 180 days |
| cp_pref_function | Remembers your preferred Content Function. | Up to 180 days |
| cp_pref_format | Remembers your preferred Content Format. | Up to 180 days |
| cp_pref_country | Remembers your preferred country for creator discovery. | Up to 180 days |
| cp_pref_region | Remembers your preferred state or region. | Up to 180 days |
| cp_pref_city | Remembers your preferred city or locality. | Up to 180 days |
| cp_pref_language | Remembers your preferred creator language. | Up to 180 days |
These preferences are used as relevance signals for discovery. They do not turn direct creator-name search into a location-restricted search.
5. How discovery preferences affect results
Saved preferences can influence the order in which eligible creators appear in discovery areas.
For example, a user who selects Technology, Reviews, Long-form Video and United States may see creators matching those preferences ranked more prominently.
6. Clearing or changing discovery preferences
Where the relevant controls are available, you can:
- change your Topic, Function or Format preferences;
- change your location or language preferences;
- return location preferences to worldwide while keeping content interests;
- clear all saved discovery preferences.
You can also remove cookies through your browser settings.
7. Analytics cookies
CreatorsProfiles may use analytics tools in the future to understand website traffic, performance and how people use the Service.
If non-essential analytics cookies are enabled, this Cookie Policy and any cookie-consent controls should be updated to identify them and provide choices where required by applicable law.
We do not describe optional analytics cookies here as active unless they are actually enabled on the production website.
8. Advertising and marketing cookies
CreatorsProfiles does not assume that advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies are active simply because the platform may later introduce advertising or sponsored features.
If advertising, retargeting or similar technologies are introduced, we should clearly disclose:
- which providers are involved;
- what cookies or identifiers are used;
- the purpose of the tracking;
- how long information is retained;
- how users can accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies where required.
9. Third-party cookies
Some external services may set their own cookies when their features are used or embedded on CreatorsProfiles.
Examples could include:
- embedded videos or social-media content;
- analytics providers;
- spam-prevention or security services;
- contact-form services;
- payment providers if paid services are introduced;
- identity-verification providers if used in the future.
Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy and cookie practices of the relevant provider.
10. WordPress, hosting and security technologies
CreatorsProfiles operates on WordPress and may use hosting, security, caching, email or other technical services.
Those systems may set technical cookies or similar identifiers where necessary to provide login, security, performance or anti-abuse functionality.
The exact cookie names may vary depending on the production configuration and services that are enabled.
11. Cookie duration
Cookies may be either:
- Session cookies, which normally expire when your browser session ends; or
- Persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period or until you delete them.
CreatorsProfiles discovery-preference cookies are currently designed to persist for up to approximately 180 days unless they are cleared earlier.
12. Managing cookies through your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their privacy or site-data settings.
If you block all cookies, some CreatorsProfiles functionality may stop working, including login sessions or saved discovery preferences.
Browser controls differ by browser and device, so refer to your browser's help or privacy settings for specific instructions.
13. Cookie consent
Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential cookies are used, CreatorsProfiles should provide appropriate consent choices before activating those technologies.
Essential cookies needed for security, login or core website operation may be treated differently under applicable law.
Your choices may differ depending on your location and the technologies enabled on the website.
14. Do cookies contain creator profile information?
The discovery-preference cookies described above are intended to store preference values such as Topic, Function, Format or location selections.
They are not intended to store an entire creator profile, creator biography or sensitive identity document.
Account, moderation and verification records are handled separately from ordinary discovery-preference cookies.
15. Cookies and personal information
Depending on the cookie, service and applicable law, cookie identifiers or related technical data may be considered personal information.
For more information about how CreatorsProfiles handles personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to the cookies we use
The cookies used by CreatorsProfiles may change as the platform evolves.
For example, new account, analytics, security, advertising, payment or verification features may require additional cookies or similar technologies.
This policy should be updated whenever the production cookie setup changes materially.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements or how CreatorsProfiles operates.
Material updates may be reflected by changing the “Last updated” date.
