About The Roots Of Home
The Roots Of Home is a home brand created and run by Dara Dimitri, where she shares creating home with DIYs, thrifting, vintage and easy recipes. Through The Roots Of Home, she documents content ranging from One Room Challenge bathroom renovations painting walls white over blue with green floor tile and terrazzo shower tile and veined granite countertop to shower demolition that was surgically strategic to avoid wires seen through exhaust fan hole.
She combines log home living with vintage curation, highlighting both curated red cabinet of natural curiosities and decade-long DIY transformation of thrifted china cabinet. Alongside DIYs, she occasionally shares personal moments like second night of legal flounder gigging at Wrightsville Beach NC with family spearing flatfish, Pixies concert at Wilson Center Wilmington NC, baby chicks growing under red heat lamp to backyard chickens, Lady Banks Rose blooming on log home and Relove It Again thrift store supporting dental care, framing her page as home is the nicest word there is with best life ever log home.
