About Tyne and Trowel
Sasha is the creator behind @tyneandtrowel, where she documents the learning process of gardening in Arizona’s low-desert climate.
Her content follows seed starting, raised beds, seasonal planting, food growing and pollinator-friendly gardening, often showing both progress and setbacks rather than presenting gardening as a perfectly polished process. She also shares life with backyard chickens, pets and family, along with projects such as planting fruit trees and helping build gardens with relatives.
Thrifting and home style are another recurring part of the profile, with secondhand clothing, décor and everyday finds appearing alongside garden content.
Tyne and Trowel brings together beginner-friendly desert gardening, backyard life and thrifted home style with an emphasis on learning by doing.
